Elected in 2003
Judge David J. Rodriguez was first elected as Judge of Bexar County Court at Law No. 3 in 2003. Judge Rodriguez has served on the bench for the past sixteen years.
Experience and Integrity
In the sixteen years Judge Rodriguez has presided over County Court at Law No. 3, he has tried almost 300 jury trials to verdict and has tried thousands of non-jury trials and other matters.
According to recent judicial polls conducted by San Antonio lawyers, Judge Rodriguez is ranked No. 1 among all County Court at Law Judges for Integrity, Temperament, Impartiality, Work Ethic, and Knowledge of the Law.
Community Involvement and Family
Judge Rodriguez was appointed by the President of the State Bar of Texas to the State Bar Standing Committee on Administration on the Rules of Evidence and the State Bar Committee on Pattern Jury Charges.
Judge Rodriguez is a frequent speaker and presenter at the Texas State Bar continuing legal education seminars and other community events.
Judge Rodriguez is a graduate of Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University School of Law, where he has served as a member of their Board of Directors their Alumni Association.
Judge Rodriguez has been married to his lovely wife, Margarita for nineteen years and together they have three teenage children.
